My gallery exhibition of twenty-five 30×40 and 16×20 prints, from my coverage of the 1965 Selma to Montgomery Alabama civil rights march, owes much of its success to the Heidelberg drum scanner and the archival inkjet printing of Light Source. On a tight deadline, they extracted all the detail and tonal quality heretofore only approached by time-consuming conventional printing. Their “wet” scans lots of Photoshop cleanup, from 45 years of dust and scratches. The resulting, exquisite fine art prints exceded my high standards. The images of Martin Luther King and Joan Baez, now breathe a new life. My hat is off to this expert team!
